Established in 2023, their unique sound is an evolving blend of grungy and gritty Riffs And vibes Combined with The vocal prowess Of Lex Cali supported by a foundation of tight, punchy rhythms and tempos. This brand of rock & roll is heavily influenced by genres ranging from blues, Southern Rock, Punk, and Even melodic metal.

Roadhouse Royalty is a female-fronted, all-original rock band hailing from Phoenix, Arizona. Established in 2023, the band crafts a distinctive sound that melds grungy and gritty riffs with the dynamic vocal prowess of Lex Cali. Their music is underpinned by tight, punchy rhythms and tempos, drawing influences from blues, southern rock, punk, and even melodic metal. Formation and Early Development The inception of Roadhouse Royalty traces back to early 2023 when co-founders Craig Fredrickson (Chandler, AZ) and Wes Voytkowski (Mesa, AZ) connected through a Craigslist advertisement. United by experience and a shared passion for rock music, they commenced writing material while on the lookout for a permanent vocalist and bassist. Their search culminated in the addition of vocalist Lex Cali (Peoria, AZ) later that year. Despite having no prior band experience, Lex’s powerful vocals became a defining element of the group’s signature sound. Craig’s industry experience, garnered from his seven-year tenure with Deadbeat Blackout in Olympia, Washington, positioned him as the de facto manager of Roadhouse Royalty. The band’s lineup was further solidified in 2024 ultimtely with the inclusion of Craig’s wife, Christina Fredrickson, on bass guitar. Her immense dedication and ambition led to learn the instrument within just months of their first show, filling that crucial role within the band. Live Performances and Aspirations Roadhouse Royalty made their live debut on a Friday Night, Valentine’s Day in 2025 at The Blooze Bar in Phoenix, Arizona. This appearance was facilitated by local musician and scene-icon, Bryon Mogul, whose support was instrumental in bringing this band to the stage for the very first time. Their second show saw them supporting the cult classic, national act Green Jellÿ at the 44 Sports Grill and Nightlife in Glendale, Arizona further establishing the band’s presence in the local music scene. Currently, Roadhouse Royalty continues to perform locally with aspirations of growth, recording and EP, continuing to support national acts, and embarking on their own tour along the west coast. Their commitment to their craft and dynamic performances hopefully positions them as a notable presence in the Phoenix rock landscape.
